PostNL locations; surprisingly close!

In our PostNL social campaign we put the focus on how close their locations (post offices and parcel service points) are to their consumers. We created a short viral video, featuring remarkable people who are picking up their parcels. Parcels with a surprising content!

Besides the viral video, the campaign also included a unique trigger. Consumers could check in at a PostNL location when they were dropping off or pickup up a parcel, using the hashtag #postnldichtbij,  for a chance to win an Iphone7!

Using a check-in in this campaign has several advantages. First, due to the large use of #postnldichtbij, the social media campaign creates awareness for PostNL’s locations amongst a broad audience. Second the location check-ins expose the social media pages and accounts of retailers who run parcel service points in their stores.

Overall a unique campaign that helped PostNL with creating awareness for their many locations throughout the country and at the same time helped retailers with the growth of their social media accounts.
